Origin : Kiyama, Saga prefecture

Harvest Time : Late April-Early May
Cultivar : Yabukita, Asatsuyu
Note : you may be familiar with Yabukita [a common cultivar in our Japanese green teas] . Asatsuyu is a sensitive, delicate and sometimes referred to as 'natural gyokuro'
Plucking standard : Portable plucking machine
Processing : 20 days before plucking, fields are covered with black nets to stop photosynthesis and increasie nutrients productions inside the leaves. After plucking, the leaves are deep steamed and then carefully rolled.
Experience : A mild and sweet tea with an elegant aroma
How to prepare [kyusu]
Amount of tea per cup (200 ml): 5g (one tea caddy spoon)
Temperature of water: 60℃ / 140℉
Infusion / brewing time: 2-3 minutes
Number of infusions: 3-4
