This high mountain oolong is grown by Mr Chen. Grown in Shibi (between Shanlinxi and Alishan) using the Qingxin cultivar

Tea Farmer : Mr Chen

Origin : Shibi, Yunlin County, Taiwan

Size : 1 hectare

Harvest Time : Spring

Cultivar : Qingxin oolong

Plucking standard : Hand picked, 4 or 5 leaves

Processing : Lightly oxidised.  Final appearance is semi-balled oolong 

Experience : Gentle floral, crisp and naturally sweet

How to prepare tea [Gong Fu Style]

Amount of tea per pot : 5g (1/3 of a pot)

Water temperature: 80 C

Infusion / brewing time: 45 seconds then 20 seconds as desired

There is a depth of flavour that develops over multiple infusions of the same leaves.

Number of infusions: 5

How to enjoy: No sugar, no milk.

How to prepare tea [Western Style]

Amount of tea per cup (200 ml) - 5g (2 teaspoon)

Temperature of water - 80℃ / 176℉

Infusion time - 2 mins 1st infusion, 1 minute subsequent.

Number of infusions - 6+ / 

There is a depth of flavour that develops over multiple infusions of the same leaves.

How to enjoy - No milk, no sugar

Shanlinxi Oolong is a light tea and so is great in the afternoon or as an after dinner drink.
