In May this year Rob took an amazing trip to South Korea - the details of which you can read on our blog - link below. The exciting news is that the highly skilled tea masters & craftspeople we met with there will now be making a trip to see us in the UK! Not only that but they will be holding a number of unique events at the Bath & Dorset Tea House the details of which you can find on the tea school section of our website along with profiles of those visiting.
During this visit the Tea House will host an exhibition of the extraordinary work of these talented craftspeople - so be sure to plan a visit!

The first 30 minutes of this workshop will introduce participants to the background and experience of the Korean Tea Ceremony. Conducted by tea master Oh Kum Seop & Park Eun Joung a small group will learn more about the life and background of Oh Kum Seop & Park Eun Joung and experience the green tea ceremony first hand. South Korean snacks will be served alongside The group will then enjoy a guided tasting of korean white and fermented teas alongside teas from Wuyi Shan - where friends of Oh Kum Seop & Park Eun Joung have a small farm.
A special session focused on the craftsmanship surrounding tea in Korea. This session will focus more on the ceramic and metalwork aspects of the exhibition from the craftspeople themselves while finishing with a green tea ceremony drinking tea from the wonderful vessels they create.
