Tea Maker : Li Family : Sanxia, Taiwan : The Li family operate in a tea model that can be linked back to the days when tea was controlled as a government monopoly - a time when small growers would sell their leaves to government run factories. The Li family produce tea every day of the year in their factory - using skills honed over multiple generations - apart from the winter when tea bushes are dormant.
Origin / Garden name and location : The leaf for this tea is sourced from pesticide free gardens in Sanxia which is in the southwestern part of New Taipei 400 - 500m ASL
