JungjakJungjak is made from leaves harvested after the start of May, when the leaves are more fully grown. The tea has a stronger flavor, sometimes with a slight bitterness, and is more affordable compared to Ujeon and Sejak. It is often considered suitable for daily drinking.

Cultivar : Wild Hadong tea Cultivar

Approach to cultivation : ‘Hadong's handmade tea is only made for a month a year (April to May).  No pesticides and fertilizers are given and tea trees are cut. Tea trees aare grown in wild environments’

Mr Jun’s story : ‘Our company has been making tea in Hadong for three generations.  My father is making traditional handmade tea and I work with him and I also make several kinds of tea together, such as blending tea and herbal tea, for many people to drink tea’

How to make Jun’s Jungjak Green Tea

 

Amount of tea per serving (200 ml): 2g (half tea caddy spoon / 1 teaspoon)

Temperature of water: 80℃ / 176℉ (boil kettle, cool for 2 minutes)

Infusion time: 1 - 2 minutes as desired

Number of infusions: 3-4

How to enjoy: No milk, no sugar
