This traditional natural bamboo measuring spoon is ideal for making sure you use the right amount of Matcha Tea each time. Known in Japan as a Chashaku it holds around 1.5g of tea, or about half a teaspoon. For Usucha (thin tea) you should use two Chashaku of Matcha, whilst for Koicha (thick tea) use three or four.
