White cat Tea Pet  : Lu Dan Cheng's Studio Jingdezhen

Following our 2024 trip to Jingdezhen we are delighted to be able to bring you a number of pieces from

Lu Dan Cheng's Studio 

And what a beautiful studio this is.  Situated right by the river in Jingdezhen Lu Dan Cheng works quietly in this serene space predominantly using a grey clay - alternating glazes dependant on the clay used.   His whole style is about making his pieces looked aged 'as if they have lived'. 

Upstairs, away from his more traditional works we found a team painting beautiful cat plates and making these lovely tea pets - they are so uplifting and fun - we couldn't resist offering some of our favourites.
