Join us for this short film in the presence of one of the stars of the film!  A wonderful way to start a Spring Saturday with a cup of Nepalese Tea & a small Nepalese snack.  

You are then welcome to stay in the Tea House, browse the art works & enjoy tea & snacks from the pop-up menu

The film : In the words of the film maker Jack Hexstall '

I followed three painters into the Himalayas and shot a documentary about their attempts to capture the beauty of the mountains on canvas. It was selected for the Fine Arts Film Festival in California and Kendal Mountain Film Festival. It won Best International Documentary at the Nepal International Film Festival.

Three landscape painters in their seventies travel to Nepal to paint the Himalayas and climb the Throrong La pass. A low-octane adventure from the artistic view of the painters, who struggle to capture the magnificence of their surroundings as well as tackling the 5400m pass by foot

This film was screened at the Royal Geographical Society along with an exhibition of the paintings from the trip.
