CHINESE BAI MU DAN GRADE
Chinese Bai Mu Dan is considered the second highest grade of white tea after Silver Needle. We source the highest quality of this type.
CHINESE BAI MU DAN ORIGIN
Our Bai Mu Dan is grown in the Bo Yang Organic Tea Garden, Xiamen Chan Village, Fuding, Eastern China. Also known as Pai Mu Tan or White Peony this tea is produced from one leaf shoot (unopened bud) and two newly sprouted leaves. The freshly picked leaves simply withered in the sun to stop the oxidation. They are therefore only slightly oxidised. This withering gives this tea its beautiful depth of flavour.
CHINESE BAI MU DAN FLAVOUR
The tea makes a golden, bright liquor and has a rich, floral and warm aroma. The smooth, mellow and fruity taste is clean and rounded. Bai Mu Dan is an ideal introduction to the world of white teas or even loose leaf tea in general.
