Tea Maker :  Processed at : Factory of the grower of the T-18 leaves used in this tea Process designed and overseen by Yu Wen. 
Origin / Garden name and location : Baguashan, Nantou County, Taiwan 200m ASL  This tea is produced using both T-18 and Jin Xuan leaves from two small family run gardens in Baguashan.   One is the garden of Yu Wen and the other is a local T-18 garden [which also houses the factory for processing] which follows the same strict protocols
Harvest Time :  Feb 2022 [Pre-Qingming/Mixed Cultivar]
Cultivar : T-18 and Jin Xuan  Leaves combined before processing [please read more on Taiwanese cultivars by clicking on this link > Red Jade T18 is known for natural cinnamon and fresh mint, teas made with Jin Xuan leaves are often described as having 'creamy/milky tones & texture' with 'underlying smoothness and sweetness'. : with all GABA teas you often experience a crisp fruitiness so this combined with the use of leaves from these two cultivars perhaps helps us to start to understand the profile of this tea : creamy fruit tangi-ness!]

Processing :  Hand Plucking.  Short Indoor Withering.  Placed into the vacuum chamber to undergo what the process you can read about here >GABA processing< After many hours, the leaves are removed, heated [panned] to stop oxidation and dried..

How to prepare tea [Gaiwan or Taiwan Travel Set]

Amount of tea per pot : 2.5g

Water temperature: 90 C

Infusion / brewing time: 1-2 minutes

There is a depth of flavour that develops over multiple infusions of the same leaves.

Number of infusions: 4

How to enjoy: No sugar, no milk.

How to prepare tea [Western Style]

Amount of tea per cup (200 ml) - 5g (2 teaspoon)

Temperature of water - 90℃ / 176℉

Infusion time - 2 - 3 mins 1st infusion, 2 minute subsequent.

Number of infusions -4 

There is a depth of flavour that develops over multiple infusions of the same leaves.

How to enjoy - No milk, no sugar
