Gyokuro Tea Grade: Gyokuro is the finest grade of Japanese tea. Our Gyokuro comes from the Uji area, which when compared with many regional varieties is considered to be the best.

Gyokuro Tea Origin: Our Gyokuro is grown in Uji, Kyoto, which is the ancient capital of Japan. The tea farm producing the tea is approximately twenty acres in size with fields located above tiny streams on the mineral rich sloping hills of mountain ravines.

Gyokuro is grown under shade for the last twenty days before harvesting, a technique which creates its sweet taste.

Gyokuro Tea Flavour: The tea makes a light green liquor. It has a elegant refreshing aroma. The mild, sweet taste offers subtle yet varied flavours.

Our Gyokuro is not only an a great introduction to those who have not drunk this type of tea before, but offers both the quality and value a more regular drinker will appreciate.
