This is us. 2 Tea Merchants. 3 children. 1 Tea House. As you can see [& if you already know us you will know] tea is a big part of our lives and our children get great enjoyment from spending time with us taking tea & observing and taking part in the ceremony that accompanies it. Tea is a great connector - regardless of age.
It is not just us - as we travel all over the world we meet families who build and live their lives around tea - this is a young tea master in practice under the watchful eye of his father in Taiwan last year. We also observe this in the young tea drinkers who visit the Tea House - tea captures their imagination [even if they have an apple juice and just try some of mum or dads tea] and we love welcoming children into the Tea House.
So we just wanted to let you know - that if you fancy some time out at the Tea House this half term and are worried about bringing your children in - please don't be - we just hope that you & they get as much enjoyment out of taking tea [& eating dumplings] as our family does! Rob & Michelle Comins
